SchönhuberFranchi
- Shabbychic bone china

2015

“I wanted to industrialize the shabby-chic style, coined in Great Britain in the 80s, opening a casket of dreams and memories, designing plates that could belong to our grandparents or be found in flea-markets the world over. I tried to make it possible to manufacture this poetic vision of a somewhat mismatched, slightly imperfect object. I am increasingly coming to appreciate this controlled imperfection, because today to make something perfect is really so easy. This collection for SchönhuberFranchi is my proposal for controlled imperfection.” Piero Lissoni
