“The hours spent in the Limonta archive surrounded by its fascinating history was the starting point of this story. I tried to imagine a continuous decoration. For me, designing surfaces like wallpaper means thinking about how to decorate, but also sensing how light behaves in a room. My mind leads me to uneven surfaces, a sort of controlled error, something that happens and which makes the surface interfere with the light. And indeed, one can decide to decorate with drawings or colors.” Piero Lissoni
