La Macchina Impossibile is an imposing metal sculpture: a complex machine that brings together sophisticated technology and highly skilled manual detailing, just as in yacht building. Positioned in the centre of the 18th-century Courtyard, the entire structure rests on a platform, so highlighting the mechanism of cogs and propellers. Powering their movement is hydrogen generated by a new green methanol system that Sanlorenzo is developing for the propulsion of its boats in collaboration with Siemens Energy.
