"X-Space is a very elegant boat, one that explores, sails and moves from one continent to another, through the oceans to the world’s most beautiful bays. It is made of metal and this soul gave us almost complete freedom in its design. The beautiful thing about this project was the possibility to maintain all the functions and qualities of an Explorer, creating a very strong dialogue between what happens inside and what happens outside. We divided the rooms horizontally and designed large windows, thinking of it as a real floating villa. I think this is the most innovative language that I have ever seen realised for this type of building." Piero Lissoni
