Fields of intervention: interior design

The project involved the renovation of a 17th century palace: the presence of valuable plasterwork, frescoes and mirrors entailed incorporating a wide range of architectural values. The internal courtyard has been covered by glass to resemble a transparent cloud, suspended between history and technology. In order to bring out the historical beauty of the Palazzo, all public rooms were restored by maintaining the original materials where possible and decorating in a contemporary style. The classic modern furniture provides an elegant counterpoint to the ornate splendour of the historic setting and creates an elegant atmosphere. Fabrics, glass and lighting are the main elements that enhance the refinement of the edifice where the conservative restoration of the reception rooms with traditional techniques and materials is coupled with the deployment of sophisticated lighting systems and the addition of a glass roof.
