Architecture for Dogs exhibition

From 1st December 2024 to 16th February 2025, Milan’s ADI Design Museum will host a visionary and interdisciplinary exhibition celebrating human's best friend.

Making its Italian debut and marking its second European edition after London in 2020, the exhibition will feature an exclusive new iteration to include two innovative Italian contributions by Giulio Iacchetti and Piero Lissoni, developed in collaboration with the design brand Riva 1920 — a company renowned for its eco-friendly and sustainable production practices.

Curated by internationally acclaimed Japanese designer and Muji artistic director, Kenya Hara, the exhibition challenges conventional perceptions of pet architecture. It reimagines design as a medium to investigate relationships between living beings and the built environment, moving beyond the functional to celebrate the aesthetic, emotional and symbiotic dimensions of shared spaces.
