Galleria d’Arte Moderna Ricci Oddi

On 27th April, the Galleria d’Arte Moderna Ricci Oddi in Piacenza unveiled the recently completed refurbishment and reconfiguration of the museum spaces.

Realized by Lissoni & Partners, work on the project started in the Spring of 2025 and involved all 22 rooms of the Galleria, which remained open to the public on an alternating basis as the work progressed over the intervening months.

An extensive historical and architectural analysis formed the basis of the renovation project, seeking to restore coherence to the spaces through a clean and contemporary language and divesting the original design created by the architect Giulio Arata of the various subsequent and incongruous additions.
