On February 11, Piero Lissoni participated as a testimonial at Italian Design Day in Miami, an annual global initiative celebrating and promoting Italian creativity.
Hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute in Miami, the event was organized by the Consulate General of Italy, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Trade Agency. The theme, "Inequalities. Design for a Better Life", explored how design can provide long-term solutions for a more equitable and sustainable future.
Piero Lissoni’s connection with Miami is a clear example of the success of Made in Italy within the economic, social, and cultural landscape of South Florida. He has designed several iconic buildings and interiors in the city, symbolising the rapid economic growth that is transforming Miami into one of the world’s most important contemporary metropolises.
The event brought together industry professionals, entrepreneurs and academics, further strengthening the cultural and creative dialogue between Italy and the United States.
