Piero Lissoni is one of the key figures in ESSERE MAXXI, a series of masterclasses broadcast by Rai 5 television every Wednesday at 9.15 in the evening, starting from 14th September.

Filmed in and around the MAXXI museum, the programmes feature five acclaimed Italian masters of the arts and culture: Letizia Battaglia, Mario Cucinella, Piero Lissoni, Nicola Piovani and Michelangelo Pistoletto.

The talk by Piero Lissoni will be shown on Wednesday 12th October, when he will be discussing the design process, the relationship between light and dark, and the complexity, research and advanced technology that lie behind the realization of a chair.
